Maureen Denise McCormick born 5th August 1956 in Woodland Hills California. The youngest and the only daughter of Richard McCormick. She was raised by an unemployed mother who worked as household worker and father who was a teacher. Michael, Dennis and Kevin are three of her older brothers. McCormick has always been a fan of performing, dancing as well as putting on shows with puppets. The fairy tale began for McCormick when she was six years old. She was crowned an award in the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley Contest. After that, she got a phone call to Pat Domigan, a talent agent at the Jack Wormser Agency. He was interested in her desire to work in the show business. McCormick was hired for her first role of note in 1964. McCormick appeared in a Mattel commercial that starred an adorable doll named Baby Pattaburp. Another commercial for Mattel was filmed in 1964, for their "Chatty-Cathy" doll. Soon after, McCormick was cast as the lead role in the show the show Wind It up and It Breaks at the La Jolla Playhouse. McCormick received an audition in 1969 from 1,200 kids to be the youngest of three twins in the TV program The Brady Bunch. Florence Henderson and Robert Reed played newlyweds who were part of a family that was blended. It lasted five years. McCormick, in her book"Surviving" Marcia Brady: Finding My True Voice published in 2008 revealed that, during the fifth season, McCormick almost lost her relationship with her brother Barry Williams. The actress was sixteen years older and the actor 19, at that at the time. "It would have happened," she said, "but the timing wasn't the right time the way it was for us."
